Debris removal fixed for Skolten

Offshore specialist DOF Subsea has landed new decommissioning-related work with ConocoPhillips for Norway's Ekofisk field area.

Using the construction support ship Skandi Skolten, DOF Subsea has been appointed by ConocoPhillips to carry out debris removal from sites of three platforms which formed part of the Ekofisk complex, Albuskjell 2/4 F, Ekofisk 2/4 D and Edda 2/7C.

DOF Subsea is due to mobilise for the work in mid July and the workscope is estimated to take up to 66 days to complete.

The work is being carried out under frame agreement for diverless marine and subsea services, and the contract value is put at NOK 66 million (US $10.46 m).
