BP extends an agreement with AGR with one year, which has a total value of NOK 110 million.

The contract covers AGR's riserless mud recovery system (RMR) services on Caspian Sea operations.

Since 2004, AGR Drilling Service has supplied RMR to BP on 40 of its wells in the Caspian, down to a water depth of 525 metres, AGR declares.

Johan Møller Warmedal, AGR DS Executive Vice President, said: “We’re proud of this continued endorsement of our services by BP and delighted with the opportunity to further strengthen our working relationship with them.

AGR has so far provided RMR services on more than 130 wells worldwide. In total, 42 wells have been drilled using the technology in the Caspian Sea to date. The region is renowned for challenging drilling conditions.
