Bristol-based Offshore Marine Group – OMG – has launched a new manpower division to set out its stall in the energy sector employment market.

OMG, the owner of companies within the Offshore Marine Management group, announced the formation of the new division at the RenewableUK Global Offshore Wind conference taking place in London this week and the new division, dubbed Main Source Offshore People or MSOP – is to start trading from July this year.

But it has been serving the offshore manpower market for years, as Martine Rondeel, OMM's general manager for MSOP explains: “For more than nine years, OMM has successfully supplied personnel to the offshore cable installation, telecoms and renewables industries worldwide. We will take this experience with us to MSOP,” Rondeel declared.

“The launch of MSOP gives our personnel team a renewed focus on supplying the most experienced people in the offshore industry,” added Rob Grimmond, managing director of OMM Holdings.
