Deputy General Manager
DNO International ASA ("DNO") is a full-scale E&P Company. DNO serves as operator and active license partner in several production and exploration assets with a focus on Yemen and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, both frontier areas and regions with established oil and natural gas production and infrastructure. Our growth comes through smart exploration, cost effective and fast track development, efficient operating techniques and strategic acquisitions.DNO’s history in Yemen dates back to 1998 when DNO took over as operator of the Block 32. Two years later DNO had brought the Tasour field into production. Since then DNO has added six more licenses to its portfolio, usually as operator, and following successful exploration work five additional oil-fields have been brought into production. This summer DNO again is initiating a new field development project in Yemen, targeting first oil in year 2012.

Deputy General Manager Challenging – Technical – Rewarding
To be part of the in-country Management Team assisting the General Manager and to administer the overall operation of the DNO-operated fields we are now seeking an Deputy General Manager. As such you will play an important role in an exciting area of our operations, creating value for the company. This position is on a rotation schedule.
You will work closely with the General Manager ensuring the achievement of business objectives of DNO Yemen, and acts as the General Manager when needed. You will represent DNO in contacts with Government Agencies, review and approve plans, proposals and commencement of work as well as identifying opportunities for optimizing production and utilization of production facilities. You have extensive operational experience in the oil industry with production facilities and knowledge of international standards for supervision and maintenance. Your leadership capabilities are well documented.
