JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to Set up and manage the completion management system (Go-CCMS) to manage Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Function Testing, Commissioning Planning, and Operations Handover for a series of projects.
The project portfolio includes life extension upgrade works, an ALQ and Lifeboat replacement project.
In addition there is a significant scope of E&M project work that will be performed by an EPCm for an Operations based support organisation.
The Go-CCMS Admin Coordinator will manage the data input operators for the remote sites to ensure that quality and accuracy are maintained.
He will also Coordinate with engineering and maintenance focal points the data entry into EDS4 is of the correct quality and meets the requirements for population the Go-CCMS data base.
Principal locations for engineering work are Oslo, Stavanger, Aberdeen, and Kristiansund.
The Position will be initially based in Stavanger, with work periods in Kristiansund and frequent visits to the various sites to liaise with site representation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Key elements of the position include:
Set up the project and all sub projects in Go-CCMS. Liaise with appropriate Go-CCMS regional administrator.
Coordinate training sessions with QEDi the providers of the Go-CCMS system.
Coordinate the data input operators for the remote sites to ensure that quality and accuracy are maintained.
Ensure data operators competences are matched to the Jog Descriptions and demands of the roles.
Champion the use of Go-CCMS across all disciplines and functions for the projects.
Coordinate with engineering and maintenance focal points the data entry into EDS4 is of the correct quality and meets the requirements for population the Go-CCMS data base.
Coordinate commissioning discipline selection of equipment type to Inspection Test Record (ITR).
Coordinate with construction leads for mechanical completion A type ITRs Assist commissioning engineers with sub project systemisation
Train and mentor others on the project.
The position is within Norway PandT Surface Facilities organisation.
Organisation design conforms to project delivery through 'process management' and a matrix style of relationships.
An EPCm contractor provides engineering, fabrication and construction resources.

KEY CHALLENGES:

Specify in 2-3 statements identified key challenges associated with the job.
- Introduction of the Go-CCMS system to the Draugen asset.
- Integration between Engineering Construction and commissioning of Projects.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

1. Professionally qualified Engineer
2. over 5 years working experience ideally in a project turnover environment

Key Competences:
Control and Automation or Instrumentation background with experience of completion systems.
– Skill Knowledge of MS Office applications
– Skill Working with MS Excel, including the ability to download data from other data bases and manipulate with the use of Pivot tables.
- Mastery Assertive and a quick learner who will be prepared to act as the 1st line focal point for Go-CCMS system
- Skill Project Planning (project logic based planning, down through work packs, job cards, and daily)
- knowledge Risk management - Awareness Communication - skill 


 

Job duration:

12 months with possibility for extension.
