Senior Instrument Engineer

Apply Sørco represents a centre of excellence for Apply’s MMO and EPCIC focus on the oil and gas market. The company specialises in contracts for all project phases, from concept development and studies to completion and commissioning, as well as operations and maintenance and modifications of oil and gas production facilities. Senior Instrument Engineer

Description:
Apply Sørco is working on several projects for the oil industry. We currently require several instrument engineers. Our activities include major EPCIC and M&M projects as well as studies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience from one or several of the following disciplines is desirable:
  • Fire and gas systems
  • Process and safety applications
  • Well instrumentation
  • Field instrumentation
  • Safety philosophy such as C&E diagrams, SCD, SIL understanding and so forth
  • General and broad experience as an instrument engineer
  • Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Installation assistance, pre-commissioning and commissioning
  • Participation in tender work
  • Follow-up of suppliers
  • University education, either B.Sc or M.Sc
  • Technicians / automation technicians with relevant experience will also be considered
  • More than five years’ discipline experience from the oil and gas industry
  • Good knowledge of relevant Norwegian and international regulations and standards

Responsibility:

  • FEED and detail engineering of instrumentation on hydrocarbon bearing systems
  • Prepare technical specifications, including supplier request packages, engineering basis, reports and final documentation (DFO/LCI)
  • Work offshore as an introduction to project execution and follow-up of installation work (field engineers)
  • Follow-up of suppliers (package engineers)
