Business Development Leader

DNV performs a variety of services from several offices in Norway. Topside and Process Facilities is a department in region Technical Advisory Ship and Offshore, and has approximately 120 employees located in offices in Norway (Bergen, Sandefjord and Stavanger). We offer a wide range of technical advisory services primarily to the offshore market with key service offerings including verification, technology qualification, performance assurance and integrity management.
Within Pipeline Field Verification we perform various and interesting tasks related to ensuring right quality of pipeline objects/assets. We cover 2nd party and 3rd party roles within fabrication and manufacturing processes, based on multidiscipline knowledge within materials-, welding-, inspection technology. Our customers are oil companies, rig owners and users of assets and systems, mainly in the offshore industry. The employees in Stavanger are highly competent within mentioned engineering disciplines working with a broad specter of challenges related to fabrication and installation of trunk pipelines, components and other assets. Together with other technical units in DNV the group is heavily involved in the development of technical standards and recommended practices and as such contributing to shaping best engineering practice. Technical Advisory – Stavanger has close to 50 skilled and dedicated resources, serving local, national and international projects and customers.

To the area of Pipeline Field Verification, we are now recruiting a Business Development Leader strategy – marketing – customer relations We would like to get in contact with candidates having min 5 years experience from oil and gas business preferably with materials technology and technical integrity of trunk pipelines. You also enjoy developing strategy and plans with respect to market, customers, technology, services, projects and products to develop a distinct and visible market profile and value propositions and manage the profiling, marketing and sales processes. The responsibility extends to regional level (Norway) and also include: - Profit and loss accountability on portfolio of projects
- Together with other leaders, prioritize between leads and projects
- Manage the overall quality and customer satisfaction in own market area
- Organize and execute selected customer events
- Develop the service lines
- Identify new markets, customers and services
- Act as Customer Service Manager (CSM) for selected customers
- Technical Advisory Ship & Offshore is a matrix organization and the BDL should cooperate closely with relevant resource units and CSM’s in Norway and internationally

Qualifications - BSc or MSc level or equivalent
- Min 5 year experience from oil and gas business preferably with materials technology and technical integrity of trunk pipelines.
