For one of our customers in Lysaker we are looking for

SURF Engineer

Job description:

• Responsible for Method Statements and define vessel requirements within SURF segment
• Project participation
• Assist department manager to develop, implement and maintain norms, guidelines and procedures
• Cooperate and advise colleagues

Qualifications:

• Higher Technical University education – BSc / MSc / Eng or relevant offshore experience
• Relevant experience in one or several of the following areas;
  • Subsea production systems / Structures
  • Umbilicals / cables
  • Risers
  • Flowlines / pipelines
  • Marine installations
  • Landfall / trenching / geotechnical issues
  • IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair)
• Good English skills
• Capability to write clear and informative reports

Personal qualifications:

• Proactive and able to take initiative
• Capability to develop mentoring qualities
• Capability to communicate formally and informally with personnel from other disciplines
• Integrity regarding own work tasks and responsibilities
• Capability to focus on customer, safety issues and other key areas
• Good cross cultural understanding

Start date: Asap
Duration: 6 months / Permanent position
Place of work: Lysaker
