HSE Site Engineer

Job description:

• Monitor, verify, report and advise on implementation of HSE Systems in site activities
• Ensure that relevant HSE requirements are identified and communicated and initiate the need for eventual additional HSE specifications to be addressed as part of Risk Management on site
• Monitor, engage, verify, report and advise on implementation of HSE requirements at Suppliers

Perform site activities like:

• At own site and in own work team at suppliers site promote implementation of Company HSE 12 Golden Rules and ensure that work operations are carried out according to these
• At own site facilitate and advise during Site Risk Assessments and ensure resulting documentation / reporting to be approved and issued in SAP
• At own site and at suppliers site carry out Safety Inspections in work areas at random frequency
• Participate in and advise during Safe Job Analysis and Tool Box Talks at site
• Assist Project HSE Manager during Site Readiness Reviews
• At suppliers site participate during suppliers Risk Assessments, Safe Job Analysis and Safety Walkabouts
• Ensure that records and documents are filed and managed in accordance with Company procedures
• All identified action points to be registered in Company Action Tracking Register
• Support implementation of special required HSE Program issues related individual projects ref. projects Activity Plan / Assurance Program
• Participate in Site Daily Meetings
• Notify the Client representative of agreed interventions in the HSE Program
• Report on HSE activities to Project HSE Manger and relevant involved parties
• Motivate and assist training of HSE for site personnel
• Propose HSE training and courses when deemed necessary
• Participate in site meetings as required
• Submit input to project reports as required
• Establish and follow up on HSE INs (Incident Notifications)
• On weekly basis develop and issue to HSE Group Manager Projects weekly report reflecting past weeks activities with references to responsibilities and main task
• Contribute to Continual improvements of Company HSE Management System efficiency

Qualifications:

• Higher technical / economical education
• Professional HSE background
• Experience with practical HSE work from production sites
• Experience with HSE administrative tasks is preferred
• Knowledge in relevant laws and regulations and industry standards like ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, NORSOK
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• Good skills in Norwegian and English language, oral and written

Start date: Asap
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
