Project info

EPCI project for replace WHRU and Ducting offshore.
Remove existing WHRU-module offshore, build new module onshore, install new module and perform necessary integration work offshore. The module shall be lifted by Heavy Lift vessel.

Job description
  • Determining any variables involved for the degree of compatibility between a piping material and a certain fluid.
  • Valve & Equipment material selection based on P&ID's, temperature, concentration, pressure, velocity, aeration, abrasion, cavitation, flashing etc.
  • Define suitability of any Valve & Equipment material within steam application/project.
  • Propose and verify the selection of a suitable valve body material and components such as seats, ball, steam and packing.
  • Taking account of corrosion on the valve body, seat, ball materials carefully since corrosion of these components will likely affect the sealing characteristics of the valve.
  • Propose and verify the selection of a suitable equipment material (pumps, vessels, chemical inj. skid etc).
  • In addition to the compatibility of the material towards fluid, material and design must be capable of withstanding the actual pressures and temperatures.
Competencies
  • Related bachelor degree
  • Related technical experience
  • Office
  • English oral and written, Norwegian is preferable.
