Responsibilities:

The Structural Engineer will be an integral part of the MCS Manifold team that is technical responsible for defining and delivering subsea manifold systems.

This role

-Will be the technical responsible for engineering and work packages within manifold projects. Complete necessary structural design, studies, reports, drawings for the front end engineering, detail design and fabrication detailing required for the construction of the structures.
-Shall execute and facilitate the design and analysis for assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
-Shall provide inputs to lifting and installation definition
Will participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical reviews.
-Will document technical data generated for the assigned project / program consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
-Will be the technical contact point for suppliers and participate in customer interactions with the project teams.
-Has the ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals.

Qualifications:

-MSc or BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
-Relevant course from university or some years’ experience with design and analyses of offshore structures.
-Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
·Proficient in the use of Sesam GeniE or similar software for structural analyses.
-Candidate should be familiar with appropriate design codes
-Knowledge to rules and regulations within the Oil & Gas industry ( ISO, DNV, API)
-Highly proactive and results oriented
-Strong analytical skills combined with excellent problem solving skills
-Self -motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
