Process Engineer in Stavanger
The main responsibilities of this position are:
Relevant experience within modification tasks offshore is preferable, but newly graduated are also invited to apply.
Coordination/follow-up towards the customer and other disciplines internally are part of the job description. Excellent knowledge of how to prepare technical drawings, process data sheets and functional description for drilling systems, processing- and utility systems within the oil and gas industry is a must.
Excellent cooperation skills and education/graduation from Technical high school/University are emphasized.
Tasks - Hydraulic calculations and dimensioning of pipe lines
- Capacity calculations for pumps, tanks, valves etc.
- Preparation of PFD (Process Flow Diagram) and P&ID (Piping & Instrument Diagram)
- Preparation of process data sheets, specification of processing equipment and field instrumentation.
- Carry out analyzes for process safety.
- Vendor follow-up / Participate in FAT.
- Participate in detail engineering and modifications studies
- Participate in HAZOP/HAZID
- Offshore survey when needed.
- Input to procedures and assistance related to start-up of systems and equipment packages.
Qualifications - Education from University/Technical High School
- Experience from offshore modification processing and the oil and gas industry in general.
- Excellent knowledge related to processing / understanding of platform systems.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and NORSOK.
- Excellent communication and cooperation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Norwegian and English, verbally and in writing.
